December 6-13, 2023. The whole resort was amazing. I am an active traveler and stayed at many top tier resorts and hotels This place is amazing. The people were very helpful and took care of all my tasks. Hands down one of the best. This place is ranked #1 for me, #2 Hard Rock, than #3 RIU. This resort would be my Willy Wonka. I am a 44 year old man. This place brought joy to my heart and it was very peaceful for me and my woman. The Mayan ruins is a plus on the resort. The rich culture that brings this resort alive is beyond words. XCaret Park is a plus. We only seen about 50% of it. Way to big. The inside night club was 10x better than Hard Rock and RIU. We became members for the first time, it was a good investment. We will be coming back in May of 2024 and be an active member of this resort. Note, this is a family resort. So, if you have kids or teenagers. This is a great one to visit or become a member of this establishment. Distance to Playa Del Carmen from the resort is about 15 minutes by taxi. Cost is about $20 one way to Playa Del Carmen. Cancun is about 40 minutes away. Shuttle cost me $50 from the airport one way. Downtown Playa Del Carmen. 5th Avenue is a 2.5 boardwalk stretch. Shopping centers, restaurants. One seafood restaurant (Seafood), it was great and so good. 2 people, average is about $100. Note, it is a tourist strip. So the prices of those restaurants will range from $60-100. If you go further into the town, you will see local spots, those are cheaper. There are other shops that the local use for better prices compared to the main strip. Airport Shuttle to Resort: A+ Bell Boys, check in, host to the room: A+ Workers/Managers: A+ Booking for excursions: A+ Shopping stores: B- -Check out the towns, no female swimsuits. That is the reason for the B- -Cigars smokers, buy at the resort store.

We loved the property- it's gorgeous and treed and we ran into a little monkey, agoutis, koatis, as well as other animals during our stay. The proximity to Xcaret is really ideal. We were pleasantly surprised by the food (after reading so many negative comments). We actually really enjoyed all the food we ate- if you like fresh fruit and fresh vegetables you won't be disappointed with the buffet restaurants. The fruit and salad bar was great! All the food at the stations where they cook things for you in the moment was also really tasty and hot (omelettes, fried fish, tacos, etc). We skipped a lot of the other areas of the buffet most of the time- seemed like the food wasn't very warm or tasty. We had one night at an a la carte restaurant and we chose the Mexican restaurant. Was delicious! Paco's tacos was also really yummy. We found the drinks good and just asked them specifically not to make them too sweet. We also liked that they use reusable cups for the drinks- they're not just plastic that get thrown out. Even though the "beach"/inlet is small it never felt squished. Granted, we were there during the week and staff members did tell us that the whole place get's really crazy on the weekends. Something to think about if that matters to you. It was also nice to see many Mexican nationals at this hotel.

The property was beautiful and clean. We were very comfortable our whole stay. The amount of wildlife you see is mind-blowing. We found the staff friendly and not pushy. They obviously have things they need to offer as a part of their job, but when we said no they laid off. The food was pretty good, lots of hits and only a few misses. We LOVED the fresh omelet station for breakfast. If you see just one show you're whole stay, the one not to miss is the Viva Mexico show, highlighting dances from across the country. Finally, it's very reasonably distanced to go into town and explore Playa Del Carmen. We did a bit of shopping but ended up buying most of our souvenirs from the resort shops.

Beautiful resort with great pools and beautiful beach. Pictures online are great and true, breathtaking in reality. The king-size bed, bedding, and pillows were very comfortable. Pharmacy, mini mart, and shopping stores beautifully blended into the resort. Tons of food choices, kind staff. The shows were exciting. Good for the family. Walking distance to Xcaret Park.

Always something to do, conventional dive shop with snorkeling and dive tours to choose from. Lots of food choices. The balconies were beautiful and the resort had ruins in it and connected to Explor which is cool. The staff were AMAZING. So sweet, fun, and informative. Massages at the spa were amazing. Ask for a scooby doo snack shot for a good alcoholic choice!!
